The P-Square family feud has taken a darker turn as Peter Okoye continues releasing a tell-all video series accusing his twin brother, Paul (Rudeboy), and their elder brother, Jude, of financial wrongdoing tied to the group's earnings.
Peter, who now goes by Mr P, said that when he confronted Jude, who managed the group, he did not receive satisfactory answers, and that his attempts to convince his twin that something was wrong were unsuccessful.
He has maintained that his goal is not to destroy anyone, but simply to tell his own side of the story, asking pointedly why his brothers would take money from him if it did not matter to them.
In the third instalment of the series, Peter alleged he discovered he was no longer a signatory to Northside Entertainment's bank account when he tried to obtain the company's statement of account.
He also claimed a $25,000 royalty payment was shared between Paul and Jude before P-Square's split.
The allegations grew more serious in later videos, with Peter accusing Jude of withholding financial records, delaying access to the group's back-end catalogue, and mismanaging royalty payments.
He also claimed Jude secretly registered another company to receive P-Square's royalties without his knowledge, with reports suggesting the disputed sum exceeded $1.2 million.
By the fifth part of the series, released on Tuesday, August 3, Peter revisited a physical altercation he said took place in early 2015, claiming it only began to make sense to him after a recent investigation.
He further addressed viral claims that Jude had invested financially in P-Square, alleging instead that their eldest brother was the one who sponsored the group's early career.
Jude Okoye has firmly rejected the accusations, insisting that all royalty payments and financial distributions were carried out in line with existing agreements and were properly documented, and dismissed the specific claim that Peter was removed as a signatory to company accounts or denied access to royalty records as false.
On the disputed $25,000 payment, Jude argued it followed instructions Peter himself had given in 2016.
He said the matter has already gone through official channels, noting that the allegations have been investigated and clarified during proceedings with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and are currently before a court.
Jude also revealed the personal toll the legal battle has taken on him as his bank accounts and passport have been frozen for over two years as part of the court proceedings, while accusing Peter of skipping court dates.
The case was last heard on June 17, and the judge adjourned it to September 21 after Peter failed to appear.
Jude further suggested that the ongoing back-and-forth is a distraction.
He accused Peter of trying to draw Paul into the dispute to create fresh controversy, claiming the videos were meant to provoke Paul into responding publicly and shift attention from the court case.
Paul, for his part, has largely avoided directly addressing the financial allegations.
During a radio interview on Wazobia FM in Lagos, he declined to give a direct answer when asked about a possible P-Square reunion, choosing instead to sidestep the subject altogether.
The dispute has coincided with a separate public spat between the twins over comments Peter made about Nigerian languages, with Peter accusing Paul of using the controversy as another opportunity to damage his image.
P-Square, formed by twins Peter and Paul, was one of Africa's biggest music exports before splitting in 2017.
They reunited in 2021 but disbanded again in 2024 following renewed disagreements over finances and management.
The case involving Jude remains before the court, with the next hearing scheduled for September.
