Media personality Teddy Don-Momoh is in mourning following the sudden death of his wife, family therapist Lara Kudayisi, popularly known as Coach Lara, who passed away on Sunday, August 2.

Her death comes just two weeks after the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, and three years after they got married in April 2023, a union that had marked a new chapter for Don-Momoh following years of grief over the loss of his first wife.
Don-Momoh was previously married to the late Nigerian gospel singer Kefee Obareki Momoh.
The "Branama" hitmaker died from lung failure in June 2014 after spending fifteen days in a coma.
Coach Lara is survived by her newborn daughter, her husband, and two children from a previous relationship.
In an official statement, the Don-Momoh family expressed deep appreciation to friends and well-wishers for their outpouring of love and prayers during this devastating time, adding that further details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
