A Nigerian feminist, Nne-Billionaire1, has sparked debate on social media after saying she would terminate a pregnancy if she found out she was expecting a boy.
Speaking in a video shared on TikTok, she said, “If I ever face one of my biggest fears, which is getting pregnant, and we all know that that is not going to happen.”
She went on to explain why she holds that view, saying, “Being a boy mom is like literally, you’re raising your own oppressor.”
The content creator added that if she ever became pregnant and discovered the baby was male, she would not continue with the pregnancy.
“But let’s say that happens, I will literally kill that child if it’s a boy. I’m not even joking. Imagine giving birth to the one thing you hate. No! I’m out,” she said.
