A British actor, Geoffrey Bayldon, who was prominent for his lead role in the TV series Catweazle, and the Crowman in Worzel Gummidge, has left £1 million in his will and his costume to family and friends.
Bayldon died on 10th May 2017 at the age of 93, from an undisclosed ailment leaving the bumper sum of money and items such as his Crowman costume to family and friends.

The Leeds born actor and alumnus of Bridlington school had made several film appearances in the 1960s and 70s.
However, he shot to fame in 1970 when he played Catweazle, a medieval magician, also featured in movies such as, To Sir With Love and The Pink Panther Strikes Again, as well as big-screen versions of Porridge and Steptoe and Son.
Prior his death, Bayldon has had several appearances in TV series such as Casualty, Heartbeat, Z-cars, The Avengers and The Family (the most recent one he had before he died)
