Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has admitted she had concerns about becoming a mother at 40, particularly about being older than the parents of her daughter’s future classmates.

Makinwa, who welcomed her daughter in August 2025, a few months after turning 40, shared the revelation in a congratulatory message to television presenter, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia, following the birth of their third child.
“Funny how having a baby at 40, I was worried about being the oldest mommy in school,” she wrote on her Instagram story on Sunday, June 28.
The media personality also expressed relief that many of her peers were having children around the same time, easing concerns she had about her social circle moving into a different life stage.
“I was worried about all my friends’ kids all grown, but look at God. So many babies have been born this season. New mom friends and endless community,” she added.
