Three women in North Carolina, United States, have been charged with first-degree murder following the death of a 6-year-old child, authorities confirmed.

The victim, Dominique Moody, reportedly weighed only 27 pounds at the time of her death, highlighting the severity of her mistreatment.
The suspects Susan Robinson, 61, Tonya McKnight, 51, and Tery’n McKnight, 22 were arrested on child abuse charges in connection with Dominique’s death in December 2025.
According to police reports, the three women are facing first-degree murder charges, as reported by WBTV.
Investigators said Dominique had been confined in a dog crate and bore signs of prolonged abuse, including healed ligature marks and open wounds.
