The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has issued an urgent alert after uncovering methamphetamine hidden inside children's toys and cassava granules (garri).

Director of Media and Advocacy Femi Babafemi shared the shocking discovery on X on Sunday, warning that traffickers are increasingly using innocent household items to evade detection.
“Narco-trends: FYI, children’s toys and our popular cassava granules (Garri) are not spared in their desperation to conceal and traffic illicit substances.
'Please beware and take a look at how #ndlea_nigeria officers discovered this,” Babafemi posted, accompanied by videos showing operatives revealing the concealed drugs.
