Nollywood actress, Victoria Akanke Ajibola, known as Omo Local, has opened up about the devastating betrayal that shattered her marriage and pushed her to the brink of despair in a raw interview on Oyinmomo TV.
The emotional confession came during a recent episode of Oyinmomo TV where the Yoruba film star detailed the painful discovery that her trusted best friend was carrying her husband's child while she herself was five months along.
“I was five months pregnant, my best friend was also three months pregnant for my husband. The trauma was so much to the extent that I took poison because of shame.
The double pregnancy revelation triggered overwhelming shame and heartbreak, leading the actress to ingest poison in a desperate suicide attempt as the weight of public humiliation and personal betrayal became unbearable.
A child alerted family members, allowing quick intervention with anti-poison treatment that saved her life preventing a tragic end to her story.
“Anyway I don’t know about her whereabouts anymore. Maybe she’s still together with my ex husband I don’t know but they had about three children together after I left him.” she added.
