• Turning 40 while still waiting on motherhood
• The silent pressure and unspoken battles of childlessness
• Holding onto a divine promise through years of uncertainty
• The humbling, life-changing moment God made all things beautiful
For years, award-winning Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu carried a quiet longing that few people truly understood. Behind the success of groundbreaking films like Isoken, Brotherhood, and Gangs of Lagos, and as the founder of Greoh Studios, she built an impressive legacy.
But in the stillness of her personal life, there was an ache, the deep, private struggle of reaching 40 without the one thing her heart had whispered for - motherhood.
On December 28, the director finally broke her silence in a raw, faith-filled Instagram post that has touched thousands. She revealed that on August 8, 2025, the very month she turned 40, her life shifted forever with the arrival of her first child, a baby boy named Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba.
In words that read like a long-held breath finally released, Jade wrote, '08/08/2025 - My life changed forever. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in his time. God has shown me so much mercy and favor. To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement. I feel like his favorite child.'

Her post ended with a tender, tear-jerking prayer over her newborn son:
'Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, may the Lord bless you, may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make you wise, may He show you which way to go and watch over you. May the Lord grant you favour and give you peace. May the Lord be happy with you and may you rest in His love. He will sing and be joyful about you.'
