Bradly Post, a man from South Carolina whose fiancée, Christina Parcell, was murdered, has received a sentence of seven years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a child and one count of third-degree sexual exploitation of a child but the prison time is not for the murder of Parcell.

The charges against Post followed the death of Parcell as investigators later found child sexual abuse material in his possession at the time.
Police later revealed that Post had already been under investigation at the time of Parcell's murder when they discovered the evidence while they searched for a suspect in that murder case.

Post called the police on the morning of October 13, 2021, saying he had found Parcell's bloody body on the floor of her living room according to court documents.
Police arrested and filed murder charges against Zachary Hughes , a Juilliard-trained concert, as the prime suspect who had stabbed his victim 35 times.
A jury convicted him of murder in February 2025 as he received a life sentence and is serving it now.
Eight days after Parcell's murder, police arrested Post, charging him with first-degree sexual exploitation of a child at first but before that arrest, investigators requested Parcell's phone for the murder case evidence.
He agreed to provide the phone according to court documents but when police asked for the PIN number to open it, Post said he would need to speak with a lawyer.
Police then asked for Post's own phone.
According to a lawsuit filed on behalf of one of his young victims, investigators found a trove of child sex abuse material on Post's phone.
The lawsuit accused Parcell of being involved in the making of the material, saying he had "photographed and videoed in various stages of undress with the consent and assistance of Parcell, imported these photographs/videos to his cell phone and computer and saved them in files on his computers and other storage devices, making the Plaintiff, Jane Doe, the object of child pornography."
The lawsuit noted that the victim and Parcell's young daughter were friends while she stayed in the care of Parcell according to PEOPLE.
Court records show Post faced five additional counts of sexual exploitation of a child, two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and buggery in later months.
