Muhammad Lawan known locally as Babangida was just a young man when his own father Mohammed Lawan allegedly began the unthinkable confining him leg-chained inside their family home.

Neighbors later whispered they had grown used to strange muffled sounds over the years.
For seventeen long years, Muhammad endured relentless neglect and restraint his body wasting away while his mind grappled with unending isolation.
No medical care, no kindness, no escape only the cold bite of chains and the slow erosion of hope.
The father reportedly justified the act claiming his son needed protection from himself though the true motive remains shrouded pending deeper probes.
