Jurio Junior Nyathi, 19, from Tshabalala, Bulawayo, stole two vehicles on separate occasions to visit his girlfriend.

He appeared before magistrate Lungile Ncube, pleading guilty to two counts of motor vehicle theft and two counts of driving without a licence though sentencing was postponed.
On January 18, he broke into a light blue Honda Fit (valued US$4,000) owned by teacher Moses Mataruse, parked at a church during service.
He crashed it en route to his girlfriend and abandoned the wreck.
Last Sunday after 8AM, he stole another Honda Fit from prison officer Khumbuzile Nyoni at the same church.
Driving toward Gwabalanda to see her again, he crashed into a tree and fled and police arrested him after he confessed.
