A Qatar Airways aircraft enroute Bali has been forced to make an emergency landing at India’s Chennai Airport after a female Iranian passenger attacked her husband over allegations of infidelity.
The furious woman, forced the pilot to make an emergency landing after discovering mid-air that her husband was allegedly cheating on her.
According to Hindustan Times reports on Tuesday, the woman was travelling from Doha to Bali with her husband and child on a Qatar Airways flight QR-962 on Sunday.

It was further gathered that as the husband slept off, the woman unlocked his fingerprint-protected phone with his finger, revealing the alleged illicit affair.
Following the discovery of the illicit affair, the woman got furious and reportedly began hitting her husband.
Qatar airways Cabin crew tried to intervene in the ensuing fracas, but report gathered reveals that they were unable to calm the situation.
Seeing that the fracas is going out of hand, the pilot make an announcement and then made an unscheduled stop in the southern Indian city of Chennai.
Following the emergency landing, the woman, her husband and their child were taken off the plane, which then resumed its journey to Indonesia, an unnamed security official told the Hindustan Times.
“The family spent the day at Chennai airport and was sent to Kuala Lumpur by a Batik Air flight. No police action was taken,” the official reportedly said.
When Qatar airways spokesperson was approached with an enquiry paper on the incident, the airline official told Hindustan Times.
“In respect of passenger privacy we do not comment on individual cases”.
