A woman, Mrs Blessing Orefua who has been living under Mile 2 Bridge, Lagos, was given an accommodation by Aunt Landa Bethel foundation.

Mrs Blessing Orefua, her husband and children were part over 20, 000 people that are needy that received help from the Aunt Landa Bethel Foundation on the 23rd of December 2017.

Mrs Blessing Orefua speaking to dailyfamily.ng said she was sent packing with her husband and children after the house they were living at Festac area, Lagos was sold to another person.
Speaking about her ordeal, she said: “when I gave birth to my daughter, Success, the guy left me and I’m an orphan. I was staying with my grandmother and she died so I started hustling and had to rush into marriage due to this. I am not supposed to marry by now; I am supposed to be in school.”
Mrs. Blessing Orefua revealed that her husband, who she got married to, earns N20, 000 working as a cleaner in a big mall. She said she goes around also washing other people’s clothes but the income is not enough to get them an apartment.
She also mentioned that her first daughter has been going to school due to the help of members of her church who provided for her school fees.
Mrs. Blessing Orefua and her husband were grateful to Aunt Landa Bethel Foundation when they received the new accommodation from Dr. Yolanda N George- David, who is the Doctor in charge of the foundation providing help for the needy.
