Unsuccessful robbery: Thief met his Waterloo after trying to steal from a house
A popular adage says, “One day for the thief and another day for the owner”‘ that was just what caught up with a thief who met his Waterloo after breaking into a house in Benin, Edo State.
It was gathered that the thief went through the roof on a Saturday night in a failed attempt to steal. On gaining entrance into the house the thief had no idea that the owners were around. But then, he was caught and given a thorough beating before being handed over to the police.
The items Recovered from him were a hammer, torch light, and a gun.
