Over 23,000 persons were beneficiary of the kind gesture of Aunt Landa Bethel foundation’s philanthropic project at FESTAC town on Saturday after the founder and convener, Dr Yolanda N George David clothed beneficiaries, gave keys to houses and gave out food supplies to families who were participants at the periodic event.

The event which initially started with the allocation of accommodation to people who had no roof over their head and to those who were presently displaced brought about a great relief to residence of many who were anticipating a better time with their family during Christmas.
In an exclusive interview with the event convener, Yolanda David told DAILYFAMILY that she has been through pain and wouldn’t want other people to experience some basic challenges she went through.
The Neurosurgeon and mother of one further noted that.
“All my life i have known pain. We do not understand the pain people went through”.
Dr Yolanda noted that the foundation simply preaches the love of God and that three mosques brought buses and emptied their people at the venue of the program.
“It’s the love of God we preach”, she emphasized again.
The head of volunteers at the event, Success Ezeani who is also known as R4C noted that Aunt Landa’s foundation has given accomodation to over 3,500 people this year, 2017 alone.

Ezeani said the program was set up to tackle some issues the government would not tackle.
Also at the event was popular comedian, Alibaba Okpobome, the chairman of the foundation who supervised the program all through the beginning to the end with his wife and children who were also disposed to assist him.
Towards the end of the event, there was a raffle draw and lucky winners emerged to enjoy some of the consolation prizes such as Sealers, grinding machine, laptop and pump machine.
