Teacher Marks Student Wrong for Writing that Her Father Cooks
A Twitter user, Fatoki Taiye Timmy, shared on his handle that his 5-year-old daughter was marked wrong by her teacher for writing that her dad cooks.

Fatoki wrote that his daughter came back home and asked him why she was marked wrong.
Fatoki Taiye Timmy is using the opportunity to change the common perspective in Nigeria that women alone should do the cooking.
He wrote this on Twitter: “My princess was given an assignment. One of the questions was about who cooks at home. She wrote Daddy because I do cook for the family too. She was marked wrong, then she asked me why. I explained to her, followed her to school, explained to d teacher, n changed d narratives.”
