
Speed Limit: FRSC Announces New Songs to Motorists
The Federal Road Safety Corps of Nigeria have recommended some new measures and thus approved some new songs as supplied by some auto scientist.
Speaking in Abuja today during a press briefing on the theme: RECOMMENDED HYMNS TO GUIDE YOU WHILE DRIVING. The Corps Marshall said:
– When you are At *60km/h*
You should sing the hymn, “It is Well With My Soul”*
– When you are At *80km/h*
Then, “God will Take Care of Me.”*
– When you are At *100km/h*
“Guide Me Oh Thou Great Redeemer.”
– When you are At *120km/h
*”Nearer My God to Thee.”
– When you are *140km/h*
“This World Is Not My Home.”*
– When you are At *160km/h*
“Lord, I Am Coming Home.”
– When you are At *180km/h*
*”I Fly Away…”
– When you are “At *200km/h*
*”I Have Decided To Follow Jesus…”*
– When you are At *220km/h*
“Take my life…”
He further advised that motorist sing right accordingly to the speed they are running, observing the normal speed limit. He finally unveiled a motorist hymn book with a compilation of the songs.
For some uneducated drivers like the Danfo drivers and other commercial he also stressed that they unveiled an audio book which has all the hymns.
