Slaymama: Husband responds to Wife’s diversion of Children’s lesson fee
Still on the subject of ‘Slaymama’.
It is gradually becoming a phrase which already is finding its place all across our nation and maybe in other countries as well.
Like we wrote in our previous article today, the word ‘Slaymama’ means a woman who is a fashion freak and could do everything possible to look dapper. If you study well enough, Slaymamas often want to be seen everywhere. They believe so much in getting material things so as to stay ahead of their peers, brag or even catch up with status quo.
As funny as it though seems, the phrase Slaymama has given birth to ‘Slayqueen’ which on its own way, is running some crazy errands around town.
In the early hours of Friday, a facebook user identified as Chris Bonnie recount the story he listened to on a radio program on Nigeria Info 99.3. His facebook post reads.
WOMEN! SLAY MAMA!
Just listening to Nigeria Info FM’s “Break or Make Up Show.” And a certain man brought a complaint to the house, asking for advice, alleging that he gave his wife the sum of N200,000 for the kids’ children’s lesson fee. The wife instead of paying for the fees used the money to make hair and asked the kids Children to lie to daddy that she’s paid the fees. She would take the kids children to a fast food joint and, after the lesson period is over, she would take the kids children home.
And so the tender son feels what mum did is bad and opens up to daddy. Daddy confronts the wife. She denies and says she paid the fees. Daddy drives to the kids’ children’s school to inquire and, lo and behold, wife did not pay the money truly. Wife gets angry that son snitched and beats up the tender son and gives him a black eye. What manner of mother is this?! Goddamn it! Good women are out there praying for responsible husbands ready to care for their families while some dubious slay queens are having a filled day causing trouble for brother men. I got my eyes open mehn, y’all daughters of eve shall never see me. Mbanu!

Looking at this real life analysis, one can authoritatively conclude that the woman in question had lost her self -worth before her children. Maybe she will regain it again who knows
So which is better? Slaying away your worth before your children who should respect you more or get all there is in life at the detriment of the good home you should be building night and day?
It is quite disheartening and it takes a virtuous woman to come to the understanding of this seemingly funny phrase. Though funny in a way as some might have perceived it, but from the story told above, it has some serious undertone every family should view with an inner magnifying eye.
