Pregnancy is a blessing from God to the family, hence it’s not supposed to bring Separation between husband and wife, it should rather bring closeness and usual intimacy since they are both recipients and expectant of the blessing.

Though many women at this period, usually become touchy, irritating and behave funny, especially the first-timer in the experience of pregnancy, which may never be their fault, however, it is my advice no matter what you are going through as a woman in pregnancy, pray to God about it, carry your husband along and update your doctor, never take chances, above all take note of following you should never do to your husband:

(1) NEVER NEGLECT HIM

There may be temptation to focus more on yourself and monitoring the baby development in the womb, resist it, never make your husband be on nine-month leave because you are pregnant, your friendship should become stronger and better, more so you need lots of support during pregnancy and the best of the support should come from your husband.

(2) NEVER AVOID SEX

Bedroom life in marriage must not suffer because of pregnancy, as a matter of fact, pregnancy is a product of it, you need to nurture and pay attention to your husband with good understanding between both of you during this period. The only time you have to be careful a bit about sex is when there are complications which nobody prays for and it would be based on your doctor’s advice. Never subject your husband to unnecessary sexual pressure by neglecting him for so long.
(3) DONT BE HASH ON HIM
Express yourself politely to your husband, some pregnancy experience can be hurting, you need to communicate how you feel and try to endure some unexplainable symptoms which change from time to time so that you don’t transfer the aggression on your husband.

(4) DON’T HIDE YOUR FEELINGS FROM HIM

Many pregnant women bottle up some feelings while they only react and respond negatively to people around, your husband is your partner, you need to be transparent about your feelings, both of you can be enlightened through the reading of relevant books about pregnancy, it would help you a lot.

(5) DON’T FAIL TO BABY SHOP WITH HIM

Never assume your husband may not be interested in shopping for the baby, make an attempt, share the date with him and lets him plan it with his schedule, you may be surprised how excited he would be about the invitation to follow you.

(6) DONT FAIL TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM

One of the ways to ease the internal tension you may have during pregnancy, it’s by playing especially with someone you love and the person who loves you dearly I mean your husband, make out time to enjoy taking a stroll, gifting and throwing banter, you will be better for it. Spending time together ease much unpleasant pressure.

(7) DONT FAIL TO PRAY WITH HIM

Prayer helps to eliminate fear of unknown during pregnancy, God Almighty has power over any negative dreams, unpleasant doctor’s report and any form of demonic attack that may want to harm both the mother and baby, so make spiritual exercise an enjoyable activity between yourself and husband, you need it dearly.
