See the Amazing Way This Deaf Couple Met (Wedding Photos)
A young man and a woman who are both deaf recently tied the knot in Nairobi, Kenya and what amazed people about them is how they met and had a relationship for one year.

The couple, William Mwaura and Phyllis Wawira, met and communicated through text messages (SMS) all through the one and the half years they were in courtship.
They got married on the 28th April 2018 with deaf bridesmaids accompanying the bride and a deaf pastor ministering during the wedding ceremony which was held at Kang’eng’u ACK church in Kandara constituency.
William and Phyllis met in 2006. An interpreter assisted at their wedding ceremony to pass across what was being done by the couple for attendees to understand.
Mr. Immanuel Muigai, the interpreter also helped to share how the couple met, he said:
“After interacting, the two church members became friends, then became concerned friends and then love birds and that’s how a courtship begun.”
