53 out of 100 traders have been declared missing after a boat conveying them from Gaya area of Niger republic capsized.
The boat was reported to have capsized around Lolo area of Kebbi State.
According to Daily post, The traders were said to have been on their way from Niger republic to a market in Lolo at Bagudo Local Government in Kebbi state when the accident occurred.

Alhaji Muhammed Kaura Zagga, The chairman of Bagudo local government explained to newsmen that most of the traders were from Gaya in Niger Republic. He said they were going to the market at Lolo when their boat capsized.
He mentioned that 500 divers have been sent out by the Niger authorities to search for the 53 traders still missing.

The Acting Executive Director of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Alhaji Abbas Rabiu confirmed the boat capsize said: “They were mostly traders from Niger Republic.”
