The Senior Pastor of Global Harvest Church, Rev. Victor Adeyemi and his wife are celebrating their silver jubilee today.
The elated pastor and younger brother of Reverend Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre took to his Facebook page to write an emotional note.
He wrote:
IT’S OUR SIVER JUBILEE
All looks like a few days ago when I noticed I missed your absence from a gathering
Then time rolled by and you became my best friend and evangelism partner
Who says serving God is difficult when you feel butterflies while doing it?
Such was our pleasant beginning with high hopes of a future blessed in the service of our King.
25 years later today and looking back at this amazing journey
A Journey of thrills and tears, tests and testimonies, trials and triumphs
Ours are lives intertwined by the love of God, stronger together through the twists and turns of our journey
So much joy from the fruits God gave us and the spiritual ones by the thousands who call us dad and mum
They truly make our lives worth living as we trudge on together
Gratitude, Gratitude and more Gratitude is all I truly feel this day to God who gave my love to me
Gave me an ever faithful and loyal partner. Truly my ally at all seasons.
Strong through the ups and downs with love so tender, so sweet and yet so tough at times
Supportive wife and sacrificial mum, I can imagine the noise of the grandkids screaming to be taken to grandma already
May the years to come bring you Wisdom beyond this season’s, health that knows no bounds, fulfilled dreams and maximized potentials, multiplied joy and total satisfaction as you grow further with me, then grow old with me and eventually go home after me.
