Overprotection of the child can be detrimental to her Development.
Giving all attention and affection to children is the wish of most parents. Providing all the conditions and giving all the good and the best make the little ones feel comfortable. This care is even greater when they begin attending school.
This is because the child has contact with other people, which makes parents even more apprehensive due to violence and the danger that unfortunately are present in the streets. Parents are afraid because the child still does not know how to defend themselves and make the correct choices.
But this excess concern can be detrimental to child development and the child’s relationship with other children. Well-intentioned overprotection, in an attempt to close the child’s eyes to the reality of the world, can result in an unprepared adult who is unable to cope with difficulties.
Parents should always strive for balance: to act without excess or lack of care. It also does not help giving the little ones much freedom. They need to be responsible and understand the right and wrong. For that, talking about everything with the children is essential.
Talking about all matters is extremely important since the dialogue brings, even more, complicity between father and son and it is through this that the doubts arise.
Respect the space:
You need to police what the kids are seeing on the internet. But this care must be done without the child noticing. To do this, place the computer where there is the largest circulation of people, in this way, you will always be seeing what the children are accessing, without being too invasive.
Teach your children to be responsible. Show the importance of regulating the study and give activities for it to do at home, such as preparing the breakfast table, lunch, and dinner.
These attitudes are ideal for them to realize that they have tasks to be accomplished.
They also need to walk around with their little friends. Know each one of them and the parents of the children. Always take and bring your child wherever he goes.
Reading is essential for the child’s development. If your child enjoys reading comics, for example, let them. Parents need to stimulate confidence, teach what is right and wrong, explain what is fiction and what is a reality. They should follow the reading in a balanced way, without impeding freedom of expression.
Follow the tips and do not be afraid! Acting with complicity and trust, your children will ask everything about you and respect your rules and follow your advice without hesitation.
