In an exclusive interview with Dailyfamily.ng he said his dream is to be able to Inspire/Help Others to Find and discover their Voice and True Essence, by helping them to Grow and Nurture themselves like a Flower. This is my Life Strategic Purpose.

Can we meet you?

My name is EldaDavid Kehinde Samuel. I am a Social Sector Development Practitioner, Non-Profit Specialist and a Human Capital Development Professional. I work as Pioneer Director and Head of Operations for the University of Lagos Nirmala Chellarams Centre for Entrepreneurship Skills, Akoka Campus, Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria. By the side, I ply my trade as Co-Founder of a Social Venture called Team7Project Youth Technology Development Centre while I work as Executive Team Lead and Senior Partner for a Private Equity Firm called Proconnect Investment Firm with investment interest in the Finance, Hospitality, Education and Agricultural Sectors. We apply innovative approaches to serve our target market (Our Customers). I also serve as a Volunteer with the United Nations Association of Nigeria Youth Network where I am the Vice-President.

Can you lead us to your educational background?

I am a graduate of Banking and Finance University of Benin.

As an entrepreneur, how do you get your idea or concept for your business?

They mostly come from careful thinking and observation based on the work I do. I love to re-create old/existing ideas but implement and execute them in an extremely different and extraordinary way.

What was the mission at the outset?

My mission in life is SIMPLE – I want to be able to inspire people, to grow and nurture them like a FLOWER to discover, pursue and fulfill PURPOSE. That’s my life strategic PURPOSE.

To what do you attribute your success?

First I attribute my success to God who has made it possible to guide me on my path to self-discovery, pursuits of purpose and fulfilling of purpose. To be successful, every action and work of yours must be tied to your God-given purpose. The purpose is not something hard to discover or do, it is simply knowing what interest you or what you love to do seamlessly then giving your all to be the best at it. With purpose, you will be so focused and consistent, you will only engage in activities that align with your short and long-term interest.

What is unique about your business?

The unique feature about my new venture (Proconnect Investment Partners) is the diversity and comparative advantage I see in the Team I lead, we all come from several backgrounds and we are well versed, experienced in our several fields. More importantly, individually, we have done extremely well in our careers and business – with the new synergy we have created, you can imagine the LIMITLESS SUCCESS STORIES we are about unveiling for a lifetime starting from 2018.

What is your advice to young people out there that are looking for white collar job?

White Collar Jobs are very good when you get them particularly if you are blessed and fortunate to work in a very big organization then you will learn the ropes of professionalism and corporate best practices as a result of the exposure to the unique national and multinational culture entrenched in such big organizations. These cultures can translate to further use in your personal business and life.

If you had to give one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

FOCUS & CONSISTENCY – No one can ever defeat or beat a man or woman that is INTENSELY FOCUSED & CONSISTENT with his or her dealings in LIFE. Clearly, define what you want to be known for then pursue it tenaciously. It won’t be easy as you might want to DRIFT away but STICK your GUN there, you will always come out on top if you don’t give up.

To your best knowledge, how can you explain Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is all about delivering SUPERIOR VALUE to a prospective CUSTOMER. In what way can you make your product or service better should be the thoughts that consume you all day as a Business Owner.

How have you been able to combine work and fatherly responsibilities?

I am not married so don’t have Fatherly responsibilities but somehow you have to make it work even if you are married. Whatever work you do today is the LEGACY you will bequeath to your CHILDREN and GENERATIONS UNBORN so you owe it to them to work and think out your soul.
