Man arrested for digging ex-girlfriends grave and burning her corpse
A 30-year-old man, Yuriy Golovin who claims the spirit of his ex-girlfriend has been haunting him has been arrested for digging up the corpse of his ex-girlfriend and burning it.
He was reported to have dug up the grave of his ex-girlfriend, Olga Gileva who died after committing suicide by hanging at the age of 17 five years ago.
According to reports, his ex-girlfriend took her own life after their relationship suffered a breakdown.
According to the local report, Golovin confessed that he was told to burn her dead body by a psychic he consulted after series of nightmares he had. He mentioned that the purpose of burning her body was to stop the nightmares.
He carried out the burning of the corpse with the help of an unidentified accomplice who has also been arrested in the village of Menshchikovo in central Russia’s Kurgan region — around 1,075 miles from Moscow.
The coffin was reported to have fire burnt on it but it was not destroyed completely.
According to Mail Online report, A probe has been set up by the police which may lead to a five-year jail term for the accused.
