Janet Jackson, sister of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson has cried in a concert held in Houston on Saturday after seeing her performers dramatize a scene of an emotionally abused partner which she once suffered.
This emotional moment was captured on the concluding performance of one of her hit track ‘What About’ in her 1997 album, ‘The Velvet Rope’.
With great emotion, she responded to a staged performance where a male partner acted the scene of an abusive partner, maltreating his lover, who was continuously pushed to the stage floor.
Fox news reported that Fans who attended her concert in Houston on Saturday witnessed the star crying on stage.
It was gathered that Jackson is on the second part of her tour, which she renamed “State of the World tour”. She had halted the tour sometimes ago when she was heavy in pregnancy.
After the rendition of the hit track ‘What About’, Miss Jackson placed her hands on her face and sobbed tearily. However, the pop star was quickly cheered up by enthusiastic fans who wanted to hear more from her.
Responding to the reason why she was being emotional, she pointed to the lady dramatizing the scene of a domestic violence and said, “This is me”.
