In an exclusive interview with dailyfamily.ng, the young movie director said working as a collaborator in the movie industry involves keeping collaborators together with love.
Can we meet you?
My name is Olatunbosun Ademola Otayemi, I attended Temidire primary school. I also attended Oshodi Comprehensive High School for my secondary school education.
Career journey?
I studied computer engineering at computer village in the year 1999/2000; I later went to Film school in Jos to study cinematography and directing.
Why did you choose acting as a career among other professions in the world?
I decided to go into acting because I had a passion for it. I started acting since 1999 when I joined Kunle Mark Tokunbo group, popularly known as Dejo Tufulu group. I started as a continuity manager, then, later went to film school at Jos to study cinematography and directing.
What skills are necessary for a person to be successful in the acting career?
You must be a good writer. Movies are all about communication. You must able to pass your message across to people and this involves good script writing.
Can you tell us more about your Film School?
The name of my Film School is Demolat School of Performing Arts. The school was founded in the year 2011. It is a registered school of arts under Corporate Affairs Commission.
What makes you unsatisfied with a movie set?
When my cast is not getting it right
What do you think about filmmaking in Nigeria?
I think filmmaking in Nigeria is progressing
You are a collaborator, how have you discovered members of your team and how do you
keep the relationship with them strong?
I keep them together with love
Can you tell us about your love life?
It is confidential but I’m single.
How do you find time to relax?
I create time to relax, schedule my daily activities so that I will be able to have time to relax.
What are the challenges you have faced in your profession?
Movie production involves money. So, the major challenge in our profession is capital

What advice would you give to someone who wants to go into filmmaking?
You must have passion and focus
