Great Talents Discovered as City of David Holds Redeemers Day 2018
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Region 20, City of David held her annual Redeemers Day where there was a great discovery of young talents on March 10th, 2018.

The Redeemers Day event was held at the Teslim Balogun stadium with students from all the schools established by the Redeemed Christian Church of God under Region 20 in attendance.
The students from the various schools engaged in a lot of sporting activities to celebrate the Redeemers Day. Most of the students who took part in the competitions were below the age of eleven but they came out excellent in all.
The various sporting activities include 20 meters race, 50 meters, 100 meters, sack race, fill the bottle competition, 400 meters relay race, football competition and so on.
Students with great talents such as athletes, footballers, goal-keepers were discovered as the schools competed. The winners of the various competitions went home with gold, silver and medal bronzes.
The students were not the only ones who competed at the Redeemers Day event as Teachers, Parents, Head of schools, ‘Arise’ members also took part in the race.
Redeemers Nursery and Primary School (RNPS) Gowon Estate got the overall first position at the event followed by Child of Promise school, Lekki, Lagos who took the overall second position and the overall third position was taken by the Riverbank School, Victoria Island, Lagos.
There was a huge celebration as the schools received their awards and trophies at the event.
RNPS Gowon Estate’s Head of School, Mrs. Orji spoke with dailyfamily.ng, she said she is grateful to God for crowning their efforts with success as that was the first time they took the first position since they had been competing at the Redeemers Day.
She said the students go through a lot of training just like other schools and they also prayed believing God to be the best.
