Egypt Suffers Last Minute Goal,  Loses to Uruguay

Uruguay went into the game with an unbeaten record against African teams,

Egypt on the hand had not won any single World Cup Game before now.

The Egyptians decided to keep their star man and birthday boy Mo Salah out of the starting lineup.

The first half in the Ekaterinburg Arena started with the Pharaohs of Egypt dominating possession from the start of kick off.

Cavani in the 8th minute came close to scoring with his shot saved by the Egyptian keeper.

Suarez Came closer in the the 13th minute of the game, with his effort off target.

The 22nd minute was almost a dramatic one as Suraez close range shot hit the side of the net.

The Egyptian side deep into the first half of the game were in total control of the match, with a solid and composed defense line.

The fans obviously cant wait for the King of English Football Mo Salah

The first half of the game ended in a goal-less draw with the Egyptians going into the dressing room on an impressive note.

The second half started in earnest with Suarez’s shot blocked in the 56th minutes by the Uruguayan goalie Shenawy.

Sam Morsy makes his world cup debut comes in for Egypt, he is replacing Hamed. Looking like  Egypt aren’t ready to risk Salah this early in the tournament.

Alright then.

Uruguay not getting much going centrally, despite having superior numbers. Torreira could bring a lot more impetus and command of possession to them in that area.

I think the Uruguayan coach needs to put this into consideration

The stats don’t lie trust me, we need a better game from the both sides

Mo Salah is attacking more than Suarez from outside the field, trust me, we are in 73rd minute and Suarez just missed another chance, he was actually trying to get round the goalkeeper.

That should have been a goal come on!

Since Suarez has failed to turn up, Cavani has decided to shot from distance in the 83rd minute, but his shot was saved by the Egyptian goalkeeper who has been very impressive today I must say.

The goal has finally come ladies and gentlemen,  just in the 89th minutes Jose Gimenez has broken the jinx here!

This is what it means for Luis SUAREZ

Sorry birthday boy, the party is postponed!

The game finally ends with Uruguay getting the needed three points here at the Ekaterinburg Arena.
