#FamilyKitchen: See How to Prepare Delicious Okpa
Okpa is a delicious food from the Eastern part of Nigeria, what differentiates Okpa from the popular moi-moi is that it is prepared with a particular type of beans.

Ingredients used in preparing Okpa are:
*Bambara nuts (4 milk cups)
*Uziza (dry)
*Red or Yellow pepper
*Palm oil (fresh one)
*Salt to taste
*Moi-moi leaves, Nylon or any container that can form a mold
How to prepare Okpa:
*Grind and sieve your Bambara nuts up to four times
*Pour half paint of water in a pot, put on heat to boil
*Pour 4 cups of white powdered Okpa in a bowl

Powdered Okpa mixed with Palm oil
*Pound the dry Uziza in a dry mortar, add to Okpa mixture
*Create a hole at the centre of the mixture and pour 250g butter cup of Palm oil
*Mix the mixture with your hands until no white colour is visible
*Add warm water to the mixture little by little
*Mix continuously and ensure there is no lump
*Add Salt to taste, add pepper

*Stir and pour in your leaves or nylon and any other mold of your choice
*Allow it to cook for one hour and your Okpa will be ready

You can enjoy Okpa with drinking garri, pap or tea.
