1) Agree upon trusting each other: Once you have taken the marriage vows, don’t do anything to break those vows. Now it’s time to believe in one another and trust your partner. Suspicion and doubt don’t cause a spouse to cheat, but if one spouse exhibits high degrees of any of these to the other, it spells trouble for the relationship.
2) Accept the fact that you are no longer single: No, you may not come and go as you please, no matter how much that may rankle. You have a responsibility to your spouse or partner now, and the sooner you accept it, the fewer fights and arguments you’ll have. Acting as if you are free and accountable to no one will pretty much ensure that you will be single again – soon. Instead, keep in mind your love for your spouse and the love your spouse has for you, your commitment and your vows.
3)Wear you wedding ring at all times: Wedding rings are symbol of bond and oneness in marriage. It wards off admirers and people who may wish to have a relationship with you. Not wearing it may send a message of unfaithfulness, cheat and disregard to your spouse.
4) Nourish your intimacy with your spouse: Enjoy every moment with your spouse. Be romantic with your spouse kissing, hugging, cuddling, and do not starve your spouse of his/her bed right.
5) Don’t instigate trouble where there is none: Don’t be a nagging wife/husband. Don’t over stretch matters that could instigate a quarrel. Make your home a longing place to be for your spouse. Don’t do hurtful things all in the name of wanting to know how your spouse will react. You may get negative feedback which might endanger your marriage.
6)Take your spouse with you: Always be proud to go out with your spouse to social gathering and places or settings that are non-official. Take time to take a walk with your spouse.
7)Leave the situation: Leave the any situation, friend or job that poses threat on your marriage. If it is work related situation, request for a transfer or that the other person be transferred.
