Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo sends season’s greetings from prison. Says touching things
The controversial journalist and social media commentator, Ms. Kemi Olunloyo who was earlier released from prison sometimes in June this year and later remanded again on October 12 over an alleged defamatory post about Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries.
The daughter of the ex-governor Omololu Olunloyo has spoken to her fans from Port Harcourt Maximum Prison, River State, where she is being remanded.
She sends her Xmas and new year greetings to people through her Instagram page- hnnafrica yesterday.
Olunloyo said in a caption of season’s greetings to all her fans, that she is in high spirit and expressed optimism that Nigeria would soon adopt the realities of democracy.
Olunloyo who believes that she is being punished for practising ‘investigative journalism’ which is part of her profession.
According to her, “I’m still being held in Port Harcourt max prison.
“I’m in high spirits, very soon Nigeria will return to democracy – madam too.
“Journalism is not a crime, support investigative journalism”, she wrote on her page.
