Christians Countdown to Africa’s largest Concert, The Experience

On December 1st, 2017, Lagos and community of Christians in Nigeria and abroad will be gathered once again at the Main bowl of the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) to witness the annual Gospel night of worship popularly referred to as ‘The Experience’.

The annual worship night which is often conveyed by Metropolitan Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock (The Rock Cathedral) will play host to several indigenous worshipers and artistes from Nigeria, Jamaica, Ghana and Europe.

This year’s The Experience, which has been tagged, ‘Jesus our King’ makes it the 12th edition of the annual Gospel concert.

The Experience from history has been the greatest religious gathering that converges Jesus’s faithfuls in Lagos and far into the northern and eastern part of Nigeria.

The Christian event which has now been known as the largest musical concert in Africa debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 persons in attendance but rapidly gained momentum as its second edition witnessed a quantum leap with attendance shooting well to over 700,000 people.

Some regular gospel artist that have always graced the concert are Sammie Okposo, Don Moen, Frank Edward and many others.

This year Experience will also feature gospel artiste like; Tope Alabi, Sonnie Badu, Midnight Crew, Chioma Jesus, Onos Ariyo, Travis Greene, Donnie Mccurkin, Tim Godfrey and many others.
