A boy identified as Ahmadu Ali who suffered a spine injury after he was run over by a motorbike controlled by the Islamic Sect, Boko Haram has finally received financial aid to travel to Dubai for a corrective surgery on his spine.
According to Vanguard’s report on Monday, it was gathered that the boy got a total donation of $48,000 by the Dickens Sanomi Foundation for the corrective surgery which would be carried out in a specialist hospital in Dubai.
Ali who left the country yesterday got injured alongside his mother after Boko Haram insurgents abducted over 200 school girls from Chibok.

A member of the Dickens Sanomi Foundation Hayi Goodluck, who saw Ali off at the departure wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja said;
“The Dickens Sanomi Foundation will not only cater for him in Dubai but will also take up his education upon his return from surgery to stabilise him and help him to live and actualize his dream as a man created by God.
“We want to assure Ali, his family and Nigerians that the Dickens Sanomi Foundation will not abandon him in his moment of dire need. We stand by him to the end. Indeed, the Chairman of the Dickens Sanomi Foundation has set his heart on Ali. He has a soft spot for him.”
It was gathered that in April 2014, Ali fell off his mother‘s back while she ran for cover during Boko Haram’s attack on Chibok and was ran over by the insurgent’s motorbike, leaving him bedridden for many days.
He was said to have suffered bleeding from the mouth and nose and then left to sit under a mango tree for a long time before he was moved to a house in Chibok.
