The former Commissioner for Transportation, Bayelsa State, Mrs. Marie Ebikake has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mrs. Ebikake was kidnapped about three days after a Bayelsa monarch’s wife was released.
Reports have it that Ebikake was kidnapped at her residence in Igbogene area of Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.
The former Transportation Commissioner from Brass Local Government Area was also a former Local Government chairman in the area.
She was reportedly kidnapped by some armed men who invaded her home in Twon-Brass in Brass Local Government.
