Odunlade Adekola is a Nollywood actor, singer, filmmaker, producer, and director. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative, and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He knows how to interpret his role very well and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Odunlade was born on the 31st December 1976 in Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun State in the southwestern part of Nigeria. He is always known for starring in Yoruba movies and duped the king of Yoruba movies. Odunlade hails from Otun Ekiti, a small town in Ekiti State in the southwestern part of Nigeria. he gained popularity with his lead role in Ishola Durojaye’s 2003 movie. Asiri Gomina Wa, and has acted in multiple Nollywood movies since then and still counting.

Aside from acting, Odunlade Adekola is also a movie producer. He is the founder and CEO of Odunlade Adekola Film Production. He is currently married to Ruth Adekola and the marriage is currently blessed with lovely children.

Odunlade Adekola attended St John’s Primary School and St. Peter’s College in Abeokuta, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing his primary and secondary school education, Odunlade Adekola proceeded to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where he received a diploma certificate in Diplomatic Arts, after which he proceeded to the University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Their Journey to Matrimony

According to reports, Ruth and Odunlade path crossed in 2003 in Abeokuta following their first meeting, Odunlade wasted no time in popping the big question after a few months but from what we gathered his enthusiasm was not reciprocated by Ruth who didn’t show much interest in him, thanks to his kind of job.

Reports said Ruth wasn’t just ready to carry the responsibility of being the wife of a celebrity. However as time rolled by, she began to be more receptive after much prayers and consultations with her family and pastor.

Their marriage has endured for 18 successful years and still counting from what is obvious, they are set to defy the current trend about celebrity marriages not lasting long as the duo seems to be glued together forever.

Odunlade Adekola’s marriage to Ruth has seen the birth of four handsome boys.

Reports have it that one or two of his boys are going to follow in his footsteps in acting. This claim begins to gather momentum after the actor himself revealed how his sons are itching to go into the movie world like him.

Unlike her spouse, Ruth seems to prefer a quiet life well away from the prying eyes of the public, thus, we can only go by the tidbits of information we can gather from the existing records. According to the information we were able to lay our hands-on, Ruth Adekola celebrates her birthday every 2nd of November, though her year of birth is not known. The actor’s wife was born and raised in Ekiti State, Nigeria., which is where she hails from, just like her husband, Ruth is an alum of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic located in Abeokuta.

The actor is not the type that you can talk much about his assets on social media, thus, we can’t say when it was acquired, but it is common knowledge that he is a resident of Abeokuta. His house is said to be a huge mansion located in the GRA of the Ogun State major city. According to reports, the building is fenced off, offering little or no glimpses to curious outsiders.

However, someone very close to the actor said the house worth 20 million naira in construction and we are yet to factor in the expenses he made on the furnishings.

Apart from Odunlade’s secret Abeokuta mansion, the Yoruba actor has an impressive house located in Lagos State. The house according to reports is also very expensive. Odunlade is more than just an actor, he is also neck-deep in business with a plush hotel in Abeokuta named Quarry Imperial Hotel Limited, as well as a nearby unisex barbershop. The hotel according to reports cost him up to N50 Million in construction and opening.
