The Yoruba people or simply put, the Yoruba race originally originate from Nigeria. A recent count estimated the Yoruba people to be 21% of the total make up of Nigeria’s population.

 

As stated earlier, about the Yoruba people’s origination, Yorubas can also be found in other African countries such as Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, United Kingdom, Brazil and to some large extent in North America.

 

Interestingly, the Yorubas are unique in their styles of music and also unique about the choice of food they take.
