A 58-year-old Ugandan female nurse, Heph Mutisa Kwesiga has been arrested by the Police in Kanungu for allegedly stealing Government hospital equipment.
The suspect
The police caught wind of the act through a whistle-blower who exposed the senior nursing officer and midwife at Kanungu Health Center IV.
The medical equipment found
The various medical equipment and medicine was found in the suspect’s possession in her home after a search was carried out.

The items included cefraxion, oxticin, kits of digital BP machines, surgical gloves, thermal hygrometer and kidney dish among others.
