Here are five reasons why some women are content to just be side chicks, as described by other women.
There are ladies that willingly agree to side chicks, which is rather ironic.
Given the frequency with which women complain about being cheated on and how society punishes cheating men, one would think that women would seek exclusivity above all else, but this does not appear to be the case.
Despite knowing your real babe, some babes have no qualms about just being side chicks and would gladly be your available second choice.
Here are five reasons why this happens, according to women:
1. They find it convenient:
Women consent to side chick jobs because of the emotional convenience, according to Bloom, a millennial who recently completed NYSC.
You’re not required to do much. Your ‘lover’ spends the majority of his time with the main lady, which relieves some of the ‘pressure’ that would otherwise be placed on you.
2. They love the attention:
“It’s a question of attention given.” Seyi penned
If a guy treats a female well and meets all of her emotional and other needs, she adds, she doesn’t think she’ll mind if there’s someone else, especially if she’s had awful, poisonous relationships in the past.
For some women, the financial gains are all that matter. They won’t mind being a side woman for a guy with deep wealth. So far, the bills have been paid without issue.
“Another incentive is the sexual pleasure,” writes Ashley Moore, a relationship columnist for Humans Mag. Let’s face it, a man isn’t going to provide anything for a sidekick unless there’s some sort of intercourse involved.”
And if the man can’t seem to offer anything but bomb sex, it’s all too easy for the woman to accept second best.
5. They find it too late to stop:
Women are sometimes duped into these relationships, only to discover later on that there is someone else involved.
However, they’d progressed far enough that going back and being alone is no longer an appealing alternative.
So they keep holding on to the hope that the guy will eventually grow tired of the main chick and dump her.
Regrettably, this rarely occurs.
