When it comes to your mood (happiness), the food you eat affects how much or less you feel more often than you know.

A plate of fried potatoes or plantain may improve your mood temporarily but to achieve long term, happiness is sometimes few food sources can provide.

Therefore before you take your next meal, take a look at 5 fruits or vegetables that can make you HAPPY!

  1. Beans: 

Beans, as a great source of protein, is also a vegetable that has considerable benefits when it comes to bringing balance to your system. A study by the Department of Agriculture, Beans are loaded with iron, a mineral that boosts your mood and your energy levels.

It turns out the delicious taste of the chocolate isn’t the only reason it makes you feel so warm and fuzzy. The cocoa product also gives you immediate boosts in your mood and overall level; of concentration.

  • It also improves blood flow to your brain.
  • It helps you feel more vibrant and energized.

A conducted Research by the British Pharmacological Society reveals that cocoa boosts performance and makes it easier to be active at work.

Just make sure to keep your chocolate intake in check since it can be an addictive food. A few ounces of dark chocolates per day is enough to boost your mood.
