3 recipes to encourage children to eat vegetables
Children: Almost all women wish to have this experience in life. The pain and delight of giving life to a creature and then seeing it develop and grow strong, intelligent and healthy seduce the female imaginary. But the mission of motherhood brings with it some epic battles between mothers and children.
At the bath, lunch and even bedtime are, with some children, stress tests and patience. Getting your child to eat the least amount of greens and vegetables, for example, can be a difficult task, so any help or new technique is always welcome. So we separate three ways to convince your little ones to eat healthy foods.
Choose a mold – it can be a small cup – and fill it with peas (canned or fresh). Then complete with water, placing an ice cream scoop in the middle of the glass and leading to the freezer.
The recipe is simple and the idea may seem very strange, but it has been successful with children around the world. Something about “ice cream” (perhaps the color, perhaps the way the peas get themselves into the mold) has fascinated the little ones, who do not usually deny the possibility of tasting.
Remember that when it comes to giving children healthy food, what counts is presenting them in fun and unusual ways, sharpen their interest in what is being offered. The pea popsicle scores ten in all of these quests and promises to be an innovative way to keep your kids healthy, so open your mind and do not be afraid to try.
Vegetable Nuggets
Less weird than the pea popsicles, but no less nutritious: the idea here is to use the infantile passion for the famous (and controversial, according to the precepts of nutrition) nuggets and associate it with a healthy diet.
The truth is that there are already nuggets made of vegetables for sale in supermarkets. However, these products may contain many preservatives and other components that end up turning the meal into something not so nutritious as well. The recipe is simple and a delight.

1 chopped onion
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 cup chopped cauliflower
1 cup chopped carrot
1 teaspoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons of wheat flour

Let it cook over low heat, adding water as needed until softened.
Sprinkle the flour, add the milk and stir until thickened.

Once firm, cut into the desired shape and pass through the egg whites and the two types of flour;
Place on a nonstick baking sheet and brush on both sides with olive oil, mixed with a little water;
Bake on medium heat (180ºC) until golden brown, turning after 10 minutes.
Spinach’s Gnocchi
This vegetable, very popular worldwide because of the adventures of “Sailor Popeye”, is rich in iron, calcium and phosphorus, as well as having high concentrations of vitamins A and B. All of these nutritional properties make spinach a very important ally for Health of bones , muscles and teeth, helping to conserve vision and aid in blood clotting.
Convincing children of all these benefits, however, gives a little more work. A good way is to incorporate it into recipes already known to small ones. The spinach gnocchi takes, besides the spinach itself, potatoes. The recipe is easy to prepare and can be served with any kind of sauce, which makes the dish even tastier and its acceptance easier.

1 bunch of spinach
2 large potatoes

1 cup of wheat flour
1 pinch of salt.
Method of preparation

Drain and serve with broth or chicken.
