A newborn baby has been reportedly killed by her 16-year-old mother after forcing a rock down her throat.
The 16-year-old mother, Alaya Dotson, of Denver, Colorado in the United States, has reportedly forced the rock into the baby’s throat an hour after giving birth to her, police reported.
Dotson was said to have explained to the Police that she was unaware of her pregnancy and realized she was being delivered of a baby while using the bathroom in her home in September.
After giving birth to the baby Dotson was said to have taken the newborn up to her room and laid on the floor next to the infant.
The baby girl’s arms were “moving back and forth, but she was not crying” Dotson told police.

However, Dotson reportedly told authorities that she wrapped the baby in a blanket and went outside onto her patio where she put a rock in the newborn’s throat, police said.
However, report gathered reveals that Dotson’s mother found the 16-year-old outside with “a lot of blood on her shirt” and noticed blood on the blanket that the infant was wrapped in.
Following this, Dotson’s mom called the police, but the teen allegedly told her the baby girl was already dead.
On getting to the hospital, a one-inch rock was removed from the baby’s throat, but she wouldn’t survive it. She died later the same morning.
Dotson reportedly told the police she suffocated the newborn.
Following this, she was charged with murder and will be tried as an adult, according to reports.
