10 Simple and Effective Methods To Remove Blood Stains
Everyone has gone through it or it’s going to happen: you’ve just put on your new blouse and, for whatever reason, it suddenly has a bloodstain on it.

Whether you cut yourself in the kitchen or because the boy has just shaved, the fact is that the stain is there and you need to act fast.

Incidentally, this is one of the principles of removing bloodstains: the sooner you act, the better.

Another principle of this task is to avoid the heat: hot water, dryer and iron are your enemies until the stain has left completely. This is because the blood is high in protein, and they will stick even more to the tissue if you warm them up.

If you are facing a bloodstain and do not know how to remove it, check out our list of tips below:

1. White vinegar
This tip is useful for blood stains that have not yet dried out. The trick is simple: apply a little white vinegar to the stain, wait for 5 to 10 minutes and rub with a cloth.

2. Hydrogen peroxide
Apply volume 10 hydrogen peroxide to the stain (preferably not yet dried), rinse under running water, and wash the piece as usual. Caution: hydrogen peroxide by discoloring the tissues.

3. Coca-Cola
Have you stained your clothes with blood, are you out of the house and do not have any cleaning products at hand? So try applying a little Coke to the stain. Preferably, leave the soak in the refrigerant overnight to get a better result.

4. Corn starch
Make a paste of corn starch and cold water, apply over the stain and rub gently. Let the piece dry in a sunny location. Once it is dry, remove the residue from the starch. If the stain has not completely gone out, repeat the procedure.

5. Talc
Make a paste of water and talc and apply it to the blood stain. When it is dry, remove the residue and check that the stain is gone. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

6. Salt wate
As quickly as possible, soak the stained portion in a container with cold water and salt. Soak for 3 to 4 hours, rub the stain with liquid detergent and wash normally.

7. Blood stains on upholstery
To remove blood stains from the couch or car seat, use a solution with water and detergent. Dip a cloth into this solution and rub the stain until it is absorbed. Then wipe the detergent with water only with water.

8. Blood stains on wood
Wipe the stain with a cloth dampened in cold water. Wait to dry the wood wax applicator.

9. How to wash fresh blood stains
If you have tried to remove blood spots with an alternative product but have not gotten good results, it is time to resort to a special wash.

The first step is to rinse the stained piece with ice water, wiping the fabric to ensure that the water will penetrate the fibers. If you can not do the entire procedure at once, leave the piece of sauce in the cold water.

Then wash the piece using an oxygen-based stain remover and let it dry naturally, preferably in the sun, without using the clothes dryer. Only after the piece is dry can you be sure the stain is really gone.

10. How to Wash Dry Blood Stains
Your chances of removing a blood stain are greater when it is still fresh, but if this is not possible and it has already dried, you can try this method.

The first step is to wet the stain with cold water, gently waving the fabric so that water penetrates its fibers. Tip: Do not rub the stain, because as the blood is dry, they can break and tear your piece.

After that, leave the piece of sauce for a few hours in a mixture of water and an oxygen-based cleaner. Finally, wash your part normally and allow it to air dry. It may be necessary to repeat the washing step until the stain completely exits.

Buhari: 12 million Nigerian children are afraid of attending school

post-image

According to President Buhari, 12 million children in the country have been traumatized and are frightened to attend  school because of the high prevalence of kidnapping.

On Tuesday, October 26, the President announced this during the launch of the Safe School Programme in Abuja.

The President, who was represented at the ceremony by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, also stated that dealing with security concerns in the country has been difficult.

“The incessant attacks on the country’s education system such as kidnapping, abduction of pupils/students, increased activities of insurgence and general insecurity in our schools have exacerbated many factors responsible for the growing number of out-of-school children.

It is disheartening to note that even when the abducted students are released, the trauma of the incidences remains long in their minds; hence the plan to have teachers trained on psycho-social support.

There are more than 12 million children currently traumatised and afraid of…

APC: Nigerians still trust us, we will win 2023 elections convincingly

post-image

Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), claims it would “convincingly” win the next gubernatorial election in Anambra and the presidential election in 2023.

John Akpanudoedehe, national secretary of the APC caretaker committee, said on Thursday, October 21 at the inauguration of the state congress appeal committee in Abuja that all members of the APC should see disagreements “within the party as family disputes and should not seek to destroy the platform which helped them in the past.”

“With the huge membership strength we have recorded during the last registration and revalidation exercise, there is no doubt that Nigerians still trust us and that we will win all the upcoming elections convincingly, starting from the governorship elections in Anambra, to Osun, Ekiti, and to the 2023 general election,” he said.

“Therefore, there is a greater need to sustain the trust of our party men and women and indeed all Nigerians.
