10 Major things to talk about in a Relationship

Definition of communication is to share your thoughts and emotions. With the help of communication, you can make your relationship more trusting, close; you will be able to get to know each other better. After all, conversation and communication — is the key to a happy relationship. Experts believe that learning to talk to each other is as important as enjoyable sex.

However, many people aren’t certain what they should be communicating about. Spend time talking about a variety of topics to grow together as a couple and to prevent your relationship from becoming stale.

Today we will present to your attention 10 major topics that should be discussed in a happy relationship.

  1. Your Daily Activities

All of your conversations don’t have to be earth-shattering. Spend time talking about your day-to-day activities. Discuss what time you woke up, what you ate for lunch, or what you discussed with a co-worker and help your partner understand what happens when you’re apart.

2        Money

Talk about your budget. Discuss your saving and spending habits. If you combine your finances, set some financial goals and discuss strategies to help you reach those goals.

  1. Embarrassing moments

This topic is sometimes avoided by girls because they don’t want to look ridiculous in front of their lovers. Get rid of that thought! Love is not only about loving your handsome part, but also accepting your ugly or funny part. So just feel relaxed in sharing that kind of story. This kind of conversation mostly ends up with unstoppable laughter. You only have to try it!

  1. Talk about The Past

On the flip side, the past is also an untapped source for good stories. So, while you’ve likely covered the basics, try to delve deeper by sharing childhood secrets or telling old family stories.

  1. Individual Goals

It’s healthy to have individual goals. Whether you want to lose weight, learn how to prepare Chinese food, or learn how to line dance, set some goals for yourself and discuss those goals with your partner.

  1. Future plans, goals and dreams

Planning, setting goals and of course dreaming are some of the few things in this world that are still for free! No matter if you are married or not these three little things can be very refreshing for your relationship. There are so many things you haven’t done yet in your life. Planning your wedding or a dream journey, buying a little silly thing or even having kids, or setting up a carrier goal, all are very interesting topics you can discuss openly with your partner. If you are both discussing this kind of topic, you can be sure that your relationship is in a good way!

  1. Goals to Address as a Couple

Discuss the goals you want to reach together as a couple. All healthy relationships should include shared goals for the future. Whether your goal is to volunteer at a homeless shelter together or save enough money for a new car, working together to reach your goal can help you stay close as a couple.

  1. Your Feelings

Of course, talking about your feelings is an important part of communication. Be willing to share your joys and sorrows with your partner. Also, be willing to talk about what makes you feel angry, when you’re disappointed, and when you feel embarrassed or hurt.

  1. Family

Whether you’ve got a close relationship with your family or not, talking about family can be important. It can give your partner an inside look at what type of childhood you had as well as what type of relationship you have with your family members. Discuss how you want your family to be different from your family of origin, as well as which aspects you want to replicate.

  1. Your Relationship

Discuss the aspects of your relationship that are working well and make sure to also discuss problematic areas. Talking openly about your relationship can ensure your relationship stays fresh and exciting.

Buhari: 12 million Nigerian children are afraid of attending school

post-image

According to President Buhari, 12 million children in the country have been traumatized and are frightened to attend  school because of the high prevalence of kidnapping.

On Tuesday, October 26, the President announced this during the launch of the Safe School Programme in Abuja.

The President, who was represented at the ceremony by his Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, also stated that dealing with security concerns in the country has been difficult.

“The incessant attacks on the country’s education system such as kidnapping, abduction of pupils/students, increased activities of insurgence and general insecurity in our schools have exacerbated many factors responsible for the growing number of out-of-school children.

It is disheartening to note that even when the abducted students are released, the trauma of the incidences remains long in their minds; hence the plan to have teachers trained on psycho-social support.

APC: Nigerians still trust us, we will win 2023 elections convincingly

post-image

Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), claims it would “convincingly” win the next gubernatorial election in Anambra and the presidential election in 2023.

John Akpanudoedehe, national secretary of the APC caretaker committee, said on Thursday, October 21 at the inauguration of the state congress appeal committee in Abuja that all members of the APC should see disagreements “within the party as family disputes and should not seek to destroy the platform which helped them in the past.”

“With the huge membership strength we have recorded during the last registration and revalidation exercise, there is no doubt that Nigerians still trust us and that we will win all the upcoming elections convincingly, starting from the governorship elections in Anambra, to Osun, Ekiti, and to the 2023 general election,” he said.

“Therefore, there is a greater need to sustain the trust of our party men and women and indeed all Nigerians.
